Pastor Chris Rogers
Chris Rogers grew up in a Christian home in Walton County, GA. At a young age he trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior, then surrendered to preach the gospel – preaching for the first time at the age of 12.
Through his teen years he worked in a wide assortment of ministries in his home church. These ministries included retirement home ministry, weekly radio broadcasting, rescue mission preaching, groundskeeping and local door knocking. In 2007, at a church hosted camp-meeting in north Georgia, he met his future wife, Courtney. Courtney was also raised in a Christian home and saved at a young age. After they were married, they served together at Landmark Baptist Church under Pastor Keith Everett. For nearly two years they served as teen Sunday school class teachers, youth director, van ministry director and in the music ministry.
Chris has also owned and operated two successful businesses in the Atlanta, GA area. During this time, God began working in his heart about starting a church in Santa Fe, NM. In November 2010, after much prayer and counsel, the Rogers family took a trip to Santa Fe where God confirmed in their hearts that starting a church in this city was God’s will for their lives. They spent the next two years preparing the start-up of this new church.
The family moved to Santa Fe in the beginning of 2013. Since that time, Chris has followed the Lord in pastoring the people of Santa Fe, NM. They now have six sons: Clint, Clay, Cade, Cash, Colt and Case; and three daughters: Callie, Calena and Caydie. They are eager to meet you and your family.
