Youth
Children’s Sunday School
Here at Harvest Baptist Church we believe the Sunday School Program is a vital part of spiritual growth. The children’s classes are designed to develop a relationship with God and a desire to follow Christ on each student’s grade level. Though they may be young, it is so important that young people find a heart for God at an early age so that a life for God is not a shock for them, but rather the next step for their life. Our children classes meet at 10:00 AM on Sundays before the 11:00 morning service.
Young Adult Sunday School
Our young adult Sunday school class is amazing! With a dynamic group of men and women we are watching God do some remarkable things in the lives of our young adults. This class has been designed to engage friendships and establish a disciplined walk with God. Pete and Mariana Archuleta are the leaders in this department of our church. Come visit and be apart of our class this Sunday at 10:00AM.
Teen Sunday School Class
Harvest Baptist Teen Sunday School Class exists to help teenagers come to know Christ and then develop a love for and commitment to Him. We desire to help strengthen families while preparing teens for adulthood. We are working to build an atmosphere in our class that helps develop the right kind of friendships, and strengthen our walk with the Lord. Teen class is held at 10:00 AM before the 11:00 AM service.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church meet every Sunday at 11:20 AM, after the song service in the main auditorium. All workers are trained, qualified, and care about the precious souls of children. Our Children’s Church is designed for children ages 4-12. Harvest Baptist strives to reach boys and girls in our community for Christ. The children’s ministries we have, focus on teaching children about God, how much He loves them, and how they can know God personally.
Nursery
Did you know that one of the most important places of ministry is the nursery? Without a nursery, some parents are unable to attend services at church. At Harvest Baptist, moms and dads can rest assured that their precious little ones are in a safe, nurturing environment when they head off to their Sunday school classes and worship services.
Proverbs 22:6 tells us to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” At Harvest Baptist, this training begins in our nursery where children witness the love for our Lord demonstrated through the devoted service of committed ladies who serve faithfully every week. We appreciate your trust in allowing us to care for your children.
Nursery is available for all services.

Adult
Senior Adult Sunday School Class
We love our Seniors! You are the pillars of the Faith. The builders of our heritage. Retirement does not mean retirement from serving the Lord. Seniors have an important role to ensure that the legacy of their faith continue forward. This class is designed to continue to help our young at heart identify their purpose and potential. It is held in the main auditorium at 10:00 AM before the 11:00 AM service.
Ladies Fellowships
Once a year, Harvest Baptist host a special night for our ladies and teen girls. On this night, a nice meal is served followed by a time of fun a games. Later special speaker will bring a devotion from the Word of God. This is a great time for our ladies to connect with one another, build relationships, and gain encouragement from the Bible. We hope that in the near future, you will consider coming to one of our Ladies Fellowships.
Men’s Cookouts
Most men spend so much time working and fixing things for others that sometimes they forget to take time for themselves and their relationship with God. Against the backdrop of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, twice a year Harvest Baptist host a men’s cookout. This is a time of fun, food, fellowship and an opportunity to get challenged from the Word of God. Whether you are a member, regular attender or first time visitor, we hope that you will come out and take part in this time with us.
Wilderness Baptist Camp
Wilderness Baptist Camp is located in the Rocky Mountains outside of Las Vegas, NM and serves as a camp for both youth and adults. Preaching is the highlight of every week and every day at the Camp. The King James Bible comes forth with Holy Spirit power from dedicated, separated, men of God. Each morning and evening, an old-fashioned preaching service stirs the hearts of campers.
The camp is situated on 20 acres of property surrounded by beautiful mountain peeks and ranches. It is not uncommon to see a deer or an elk on some mornings. We have two bunk houses – one for men and one for ladies. Each bunk house has its own bathhouse as well. We can sleep about 130 at any given time. We have a spacious dinning hall with a commercial kitchen. Our open air preaching pavilion makes for great services as well.
Come and be a part of our church camp this year or you might be interested in renting the whole facility for your group. Please give us a call and we would love to email you an application and more info. You can contact us at (505) 471-1434 or [email protected]
Other Ministries
Soul Winning
The Bible tells in Acts 20:20 how Paul went from house to house spreading the gospel. We too endeavor to fulfill the Great Commission just as Paul did nearly 2000 years ago. Every week through the Harvest Baptist Church the gospel is taken to different neighborhoods within our city. We believe that to keep a Biblical vision, soul winning should be written in the DNA of the church. We praise the Lord that as a result of the door to door soul winning there are those in our church who have come to know Jesus!
World Missions
Harvest Baptist Church is honored to support missionaries on a monthly basis. It is our intent to support the needs of each missionary both monetarily and prayerfully. We have a missions report presented to the church in the Sunday night service. Below are a list of missionaries we have had the privileged to partner with.
Bus Ministry
After much prayer and anticipation, God allowed us to start a Bus Ministry here at Harvest Baptist. We look forward to seeing the people who will be reached through the saving power of Jesus Christ as a result of this ministry. Every Sunday morning our workers leave out in the church van to pick up children and adults all over Santa Fe. If you or your family live in the Santa Fe area and are in need of transportation to any of our church services, please contact us at (505) 603-2916. We’ll be glad to come get you.
Reformers Unanimous
Isaiah 55:7 – a Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
We are excited about our chapter of Reformers Unanimous at Harvest Baptist Church. Reformers Unanimous, or “RU” as we call it, is a faith-based addictions program that was founded by Steve Currington. Our staff is well-trained to help those in the program overcome their addictions and get on the road to recovery.
Meetings are held every Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. If you have an addiction – alcohol, drugs, money, food, etc. – you need help. We believe the best way to overcome an addiction is through a program like RU, which is based upon Bible principles.
Maybe you have an interest in the program or perhaps you know someone else. Membership at HBC is not required to participate in RU. Additional information is available through e-mail at [email protected] or by calling our director Pete Archuleta at 505-795-6008.
